~EM~ I felt your pain and had to move to the bottom of the tread to find out the out come. Thank God everything is good!

~Congrats~ to the big weight losers! Way to go!

I'm OP today at 10am, should have a good day. Going shopping for home spa products and new sandals to show off my pedicure!

I will say that a total spa day at a hotel is worth every spent! I went to the Marriott Harbor Beach and they have it all, sauna, steam, hot tub, Jacuzzi, private swimming pool, ice cold wash clothes with cucumber slices of your face, fluffy robes, sandals, and I have to tell all you non-water drinkers this. The presentation of water was fantastic, they put orange,lemon,and cucumber slices into the water with ice and it was so good, simple and tastes great just keep adding water to the mixture all day!

I'll check with everyone later today, stormy day is S. FLA no outside walking.

What is so rare as a day in June?

My favorite line from a not great poem.

Yesterday was great food but not diet food. I had Edwardo's stuffed spinach pizza--fresh out of the oven for lunch. And then a terrific meal at a friend's house for dinner. But I finally achieved water drops and not cacti from DietPower.

Today I'm working in the information booth at the big local art fair. There's a big food court just loaded with bad choices. I'll see if I can make some decent ones.

I'm SOOOO glad that your tape thing worked out so well, EM! What a sense of relief for you!!

Good Afternoon Everyone!! It's alreday a scorcher here, so I think this day is best for sitting out by the pool and maybe a mall crawl later on. Yesterday was fair ta middlin'. At the office I am working on a major project that is coming down to deadline and we've been working our butts off, so mgt took us on a field trip to the ice cream parlor down the street. <sigh> I had frozen yogurt mint chocolate chip ... but what was cool is I really had no desire for any of the ice cream. Had I known how this places tasted I would have had the sugar free fat free stuff. Dinner was a Shrimp Po' Boy, again not the best choice, but I work one "bad" day into my routine.

Em: I am glad everything worked out with the wedding tape!! I had to laugh when Traci said she was so stressed out for you she was reaching for a snickers bar!

Dawn: Good job in planning the pizza into your day! So did you stop at one slice? That is still a weakness food for me.

Trish: Eventually it will all come together! The Healthy Food and the Exercise! Hang in there! The road is not as harrowing as we sometimes think!

DeniseB: Good for you ... getting back on track after the PMS thing hit. Don't ya just hate that?!!

Cathlaur: YAY!! Congrats on the 4lbs. And yes, I have definitely had days where I just felt skinnier. Can I ask a dumb question? How do you know 4lbs is what it is going to take to get into your dress? Is that a previous weight? Keep hanging in there, I know these last few pounds have been doggin ya lately! You are doing wonderfully!

Dany: WHOOHOOO! Congratulations on beating that junk food monster back into the closet!! ANd another YAY for not falling into a stress binge pattern when things reached the boiling point!

Michelle: Here's hoping you have another good day OP! (Congrats on getting breakfast in!)

Cath: Goodluck facing a challenging weekend! Since you were aware that it would be tough ahead of time, I am confident it will not be too challenging for you!!

Traci: Hope you had a great time at the amusement park!! I think I am going to take a cue from you, and come up with some sort of goal for myself.

Denise: This is kinda late, but CONGRATULATIONS! on being named best loser of the Month!! Your're remotivation of yourself has been inspiring!!

Well, BEST Sisters, I'm having another, great OP day. And I even biked to the market this morning. Not only was it a great ride, it also took me half the time it usually takes when I walk

Tonight, it's BBQ chicken, without the skin of course

Trish: I hope you manage to make at least some healthy choices at the fair today... don't you hate those events when you're trying to stay OP? And congrats on making it to the water drops bet you're glad to see those cacti's go

BSQ: Isn't great when we don't even crave the junk food???

Well I have been off the wagon for several days now.. I am adjusting to a new anti-depressant and the change is just reaching my system..so I battled with the BEAST of depression..Wednesday, I couldn't even force myself to get out of bed.. Then yesterday, my Dad had another heart attack, and here I am 500 miles away and 4 weeks post op.. He told Mom that it would really worry him if I made the trip. So I am staying put..They managed to get 2 stints in place before there was major damage to his heart. He will probably have to start dialysis now as opposed to later since the dye the heart cath used damaged them futher..

I am back OP now and will go walk at Walmart later for exercise..too hot outside..

Pam~~I would love a spa day...sounds heavenly

BSQ~~how long have you been off junk food?? As in how long before the cravings go away???

Dawn~~that pizza sounds good..

Dany~~Do you shop everyday for food?? I hate going to the grocery store, so I try and stock up so I don't have to go often.. Plus the stores are too far away to walk or bike, unless you are a marathoner..LOL

Orchid I am praying for your dad. I am glad you are feeling better. I agree stay put for now and in a couple of weeks go see your dad.

Dany sounds like you are doing great and you are our motivator to continue on this journey.

Pam that spa sounds like a winner. I have a day of a facial and a massage Tuesday. I so need it and looking forward to it.

I did great yesterday but today I went to a backyard party ate small amounts but the choices were all high calorie. I did get my water in and will go walking. When I got home I did eat some fruit. If I eat tnoight it will be a small meal. I love this support group Thanks Ladies!!

BSQ next Friday we have a icecream party at church for married couples. I am planning all this week on cutting back so I can enjoy the ice cream. I haven't had ice cream in so long and it is my favorite.

Today is another day to win the war on fat.

Laura--Sorry you are having such a rough time and your dad is ill. My thoughts and prayers are with you. s

Dany--What an inspiration you are! Sorry for the problems with your son--sounds like you will work through them although it must be very difficult--s.

So far so good today. The scale says I'm down 2 lbs. Just have to keep that off until I go to WW. DH and I just finished washing 16 windows, 3 storm doors, and 2 sets of french doors. They look great. Now we are going for a motorcycle ride out to dinner. Since it's our 20th anniversary on June 13, DH said we're going to celebrate from June 1 through Labor Day--I love that thinking!

Hi all,
Hope it is sunny and warm wherever you are today, it is absolutly a wonderful day here. DD and I went out to the garden today,, she and the dog played on the water sprinkler and I used to roto tiller on one area the I wanted to plant some leaf lettuce. I am so happy in my garden, my onions are up I noticed this morning. Can't wait to have fresh from the garden.
I have had a pretty good day again today op. Met with Dh for lunch and had a small side salad adn a turkey breast sand. But certainly had to help ds finish his fries, What is it with not being able to leave food on the plate especially in a restaurant? AGGGGHHHH. The amount I ate was probably the size of a kids fries at Wendys. So not to bad all in all,
Got my water ad then some according to the Diet Power. I love that program, its easier than my journaling that I was doing. I have to buy the program my free trial is running out.

Em~ Glad all worked out for you in the video department.

Pam~ A spa for a day, oh I would love that, but unfortunatly they don't have things like that out here in the sticks. lol

Trish~ I hope things weren't to tempting for you today.

BSQ~ Funny that you said "fair to middlin' " That is one of my DH's favorite sayings. Frozen yogurt sounded yummy, something I haven't had is a very long time.

I continued on being OP, even though I had a very strong craving for .... food... tonight. Any kind of food..... except the fruit I still had to eat. However, I didn't give in and I've just finished eating an apple sauce helping.

((((Laura)))): So sorry about your dad I know how it feels: my dad had several heart attacks and it was always scary. Hopefully, he'll be ok. I also hope you get the anti-depressants adjusted, soon.

No, I don't shop everyday. I do one great big grocery shopping every 2nd week (pay week ). I then will only pick up whatever I run out of during the next two weeks, usually milk, veggies and fruits. Today, I picked up exactly that: fruits and veggies and some milk. Even though there is a store a lot closer than the one I went to, I wanted to go to Market Fresh because the choice of veggies and fruits is much better.... and they are a lot fresher. Plus, I get my exercises in.

Michelle: it sounds like you're doing alright, staying OP.

Shirley: so sorry about the lost post.... and those usually are the Pullitzer-quality posts!!! I hope you have a wonderful celebration with your DH and congrats on 20 years of bliss. And lets hope the -2 lbs hold until weigh-in.

Denise: yes, it was a wonderful, sunny day here too. Your garden sounds terrific. BTW, I know how it is with moms and fries and finishing up plates.... sigh!!!!
