There is a light at the end...

Hi sisters,

Well here I am 1 day away from being 6 wks post op from my second surgery and I feel wonderful! Sometimes I want to pinch myself to be sure I'm awake lol

I still have a small bit of discomfort at the incision site and also where my appendix was removed, but NOTHING like the extreme pain I was in before this surgery! I actually feel HUMAN again!

I have to say that this time I had a caring, concerned and trained surgeon. I feel like between him listening to me, operating very carefully (and yes he used Interceed), great follow-up care and my being a VERY good princess, this recovery has gone so much better than I ever imagined!

I simply wanted to let you all know that there is HOPE! I'm believing for each of you to find the best doctor, one who truly cares and is willing to use the technology available (adhesion barrier products that are available for one!).

I never thought I'd ever feel this good again in my life. So please know there is a light at the end...

I can't tell you how happy I am for you! It's inspiring to hear that there is hope! I don't think I'm on the exit ramp yet...don't think I'm going to get real relief from this past surgery, but it makes my heart warm to hear such a success story...now you go celebrate you new found life!!!
