vitamins?

Hi everyone! Had my 2 week post op today and everything looks good! I forgot to ask her though about taking vitamin suppliments while taking Premarin. Before, I was taking a multi vitamin, a calcium suppliment and vitamin E. I know this is probably a silly question, but I don't want to mess up. My grandama would have called me a 'worry-wart' thanks for the help.

Hi MissLemon, It's not a silly question and you are smart for being concerned about taking vitamins with your prescriptions. I think the best thing to do would be call the doctor office and ask if it would be alright, or if you should take something different. Another place is right at the pharmacy. They could tell you about any drug interaction that could occur. Call the doctor. It's not a silly question. Ask exactly what kind you should be taking now. Take care!

I don't know why I didn't think of calling the pharmacy. I did and they said it should be ok. (I couldn't call my DR because it is after office hours)
