Bottom Pain

I would like to thank you my "New Family" for assisting me through this trying time. So many questions I have had have been answered through you all. I refuse to call my doctor for every thing, I realize he very busy. So you all have been there to meet my need. Thank you. But now I do have a problem I haven't seen addressed. By the way I'm 3 week post-op. I'm having a painful time when sitting ( from my rectum to vaginal area). When I sit it feel like something is out of place ( falling out), and once I seated, it takes a couple of minutes to re-compose it self. Has anyone else experienced this or should I call my doctor because I am the only one. Thank you

Hi SJohnson,

Welcome and I'm glad you decided to post! I know that I have found it reassuring to find others with the same questions as me.

In this case, I think you should definitely give your Dr. a call. Even though your Dr. is busy (aren't they all?), part of his/her job is to take care of you and address your questions and problems. I'm not sure what could be creating the sensation you're feeling.

Best wishes and s

I still found sitting uncomfortable at that time in my recovery, but I would not have described it that way. A call to the dr. is a good idea. Best Wishes. Let us know what they say.
