T -2 wks and counting...

I go to the castle in exactly two weeks and my nerves are starting to run amuck. I go for pre-op testing on Monday and when I spoke with the receptionist today and she told me the time of my surgery, I think it finally sunk in. This is it, no turning back. I'll finally have a pain free life(or at least from this type of pain). I have so much to do before my big day, but I really don't know what to do with myself. Can you all say a prayer for me, because I believe prayer will make everything alright.

Just so you know (and I am sure you have been told this before) waiting is the hardest part. Just do the things you feel is necessary and what you want to do and go from there. Have some crafts or things that you like to do and try to keep your self busy. God Bless and keep your eyes on the future.

Take a nice deep breath -- it's going to be o.k. !! You have 2 weeks before surgery; lets see: you can clean the house ( big plus, unless you'll have help while recovering), make up some meals in advance, and freeze them ( so you can eat something YOU like ), you can get some hobbies ready -- some reading materials, journals, photos to put in a book, etc. Just try to keep busy-- as you might have read on this site, being a LIW is the hardest part --- truley smooth sailing afterwards..

Pack your overnight bag for the casltle, bring some of your favorite C.D.s -- Have a nice hot bubble bath!! Relax!
All will be o.k. (((( ))))) and xxx's for ya!

I know how you feel.When I went to pre-op I was like OH MY THIS IS IT!
But I have to tell you that is so much easier than I expected.
Soon you WILL be pain free and on with youre life.
I am post 4 weeks already--times flies before you know it.
I also had the same thing you are having--and let me tell you I feel wonderful--better than I have in a few months.
