Prayer request

Ladies,

First of all I want to say that I don't know what I would have done without the wonderful and caring people on this board. It has been such a blessing to be able to be a part of this board and to be able to turn to you ladies in times of fear, hardship and joys. I will be forever greatful! I ask for a prayer for all of the ladies on this board.

I know that the Lord will not give you more than you can handle, but I have to be honest, right now I feel like I am almost to my breaking point. I remind myself daily of how truly blessed I am. My children are healthy, I have a roof over my head and food on the table. There are many people who have not a third of what I have and I know that I have these things only by the grace of God.

I am having some post surgery complications, a large cyst possibly requiring me to return to surgery, I feel that I am strong and if it is what is required of me I will do it and God will see me through.

I would like for you to pray with me for my family, my daughter who is 15 has a real hang-up about her weight, she is tiny at 5'8" and 115 pounds, she is constantly worrying over calories. All of her friends at school are much shorter than her and therefore weigh much less. Adolescents have so much peer pressure about their weight these days and trying to look like supermodels that it is unhealthy. I have talked with her in great detail about this and even taken her to a clinic to have her weight and mental state evaluated trying to nip it in the bud before it gets out of hand. It seems to have helped some and I think she has a better understanding of what is right for HER. I would still like you to keep her in your prayers.

My emotional state has not been what it used to be before surgery but I really feel like all of a sudden, my marriage is falling apart. I don't know if it is the upheavel of the household due to me being unable to do so much or if it is the financial end of me not working and bringing in the extra income, although we have gotten by without it before without much problem, I just don't know. I always felt like I had a strong marriage until just the last few weeks and lit's like my husband and I just can not stand each other, we can hardly be in the same room without having an argument of some sort. I just don't get it, I have even seriously considered divorce just since my surgery in the last 4 weeks and divorce is NOT something that I take lightly. Please keep us in your prayers.

I pray for the continued health and safety of my family and that the Lord will lend me his strength, wisdom and understanding.

My goes out to you. I can only imagine how difficult this time has been for you. But please know, you aren't going through this alone. The Lord said that He will never leave us or foresake us. He is there, by your side, holding your hand through it all.


Dear Lord,

Please be with our dear sister, Dawn. Father, please touch her body and heal her. We ask for a supernatural healing for her, that when further tests are done, this cyst will be totally and completely gone, and her body will be made whole again! We know this is not too difficult for you, Lord. And we thank you for Your divine intervention in this situation.

And Lord, please be with Dawn's family too. Give her daughter the assurance that You made her perfect, just the way she is. Give this young lady a good self-image, don't let her be swayed by peer pressure. Give her the strength to resist and to know how to care for her body so that she stays healthy.

Father, we ask that You please be with Dawn and her husband. This is a difficult time for them right now, and they are under a lot of pressure. But Lord, You know that deep down they do love each other and they need each other. Father, heal their hearts, let them once again be one in Your Spirit. Give them peace and unity in their home. Put Your loving arms around this family, Lord, and let them know that You are with them and that You will never leave them. Thank You for Your peace and harmony. Thank You for Your healing power. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.


Dawn, please keep us updated on how you and your family are doing. We're here for you whenever you need us. And the Lord is there, even when we can't be.

So sorry you are going through such hard times Dawn, I will pray for you and your family, nothing is impossible with God, all you have to do is believe! I truly believe this and have seen his miracles perfomed . So keep God with you and in your and things will work out.




Father we re asking that you bless, touch and heal Dawn, remove the cyst from her body, help her to be able to understand what is going on her life, she feels alone and needs to have your tender loving arms wrapped around her, give her DD peace of mind and reassure her that her body is just fine the way it is. Comfort Dawn's heart,and let her know that if she leans on you, you will make a way out of no way. Bless their marriage, let her and her DH, stand together and be there for each other. Give this family your peace and wisdom, guide their minds through this difficult time, we ask all of this in your name, Amen.

It sure seems like you are struggeling with alot right now. You have got to be tired and worn out. Please know that we are praying for you and your family. Also, if you will, take some time to just rest. Put your feet up and try to let the worries drift away for just a few minutes. I know its hard to do when you have so much on your mind, but give it try. Just for 5 minutes. Close your eyes, breathe slowly and picture someplace relaxing. The Lord knows your heart Dawn. He knows that you want to please Him and He also knows your worries and your concerns. Take a little time to rest and let us lift you to the Lord today, ok? Jut don't even worry about praying for yourself, let us pray for you today. WE will agree together that GOd will take care of you and your family and we'll touch heavens throne room for ya.

Please know we care sweetie and we're paying. I've been where you are and I know the struggle, but weeping only lasts through night, Joy comes in the morning. The Joy of the Lord is our strength.

Dawn, you are so new to recovery and often our hormones
go whacky! Often, we may become unbalanced hormonally
and may need some help. Do you think this might be a
possibility? If so, I would encourage you to post on the
hormone board.
I will gladly pray for you and your family. The road to
recovery sometimes has bumps along the way. I pray that
our Lord guide you over those bumps.

I can never thankyou enough for your prayers and kind words. I have returned to this forum many many times over the last few days just to re-read your posts of support and prayers. They brought me to tears. You truly are 's and Angels.
