Ouch!

Hi,

I'm 3 weeks post op. I developed a cyst inside my vagina and had to go to the ER to get in lanced The ER doc said that I was to see my OBGYN on Monday and that they may need to go in and do some out patient surgery to make sure this doesn't happen again. Has anybody had this sort of thing happen? ER says it could be an irritation from all the cathing. They put me on antibiotic.

Thanks!

Hi Editor,

I am almost 5 weeks post-op from TAH/RSO and appendectomy, at the beginning of my fourth week, I was still having alot of pain, especially on my left side but they had left my left ovary and taken my right, I went to the DR after much persuasion and found that I had a large cyst of my left and only remaining ovary(the size of a tennis ball). My DR ordered lots of tests.....CT scan and bloodwork and doppler ultrasound so I feel for you honey, that is ALOT of pain and very disheartening after having already been through so much.
Please let us know what happens at the DR on Monday, I have an appointment on Monday too to find out if I will have to have more surgery. Hang in there and e-mail me personally if you just want to talk, dawnlang@bellsouth.net.
I hope everything works out well and I'll keep you in my prayers.
Dawn
