patch vs pill

Hello,
I am a newbie to this area, but have a question. I am 12 days post op for my tah, and am on the climara patch. The hormones are helping me, I feel great, but I do have a problem. I cannot get the patch to stay on! I had no problems my first week, but have used two more already. My dr said that at my appointment on Wednesday he will give me a script for a pill. He says it is pretty much the same thing, and that many people have problems with the climara patch staying on. Can anyone help me with this? Will the pill work as well? As I said, I have had no hormonal problems. Thanks for any advice you can give.

Hi Sharon,

For me, the pill (estrace) worked just as well as the patch. For women who find that not to be so, vivelle sticks a bit better.
