running???

Hello everyone!!!! I had a bladder sling done along with a vag. hysterectomy and an a/p repair 9 weeks ago. Is it ok to resume running after having had a bladder sling done. I forgot to ask my doctor that question specifically. It told me Icould resume all activities except heavy lifting................thanks

The best thing you could do is call your dr. That is what he is there for. Even if dr says yes, I would start very slowly and work your way up to :run3: let your body tell you how much and how long. Just don't overdo it for starters.

I agree with colleen, call and ask the DR. they will understand that you need to know and forgot to mention it.

If you get the o.k. approach the running like you have never done it before in your life!

If you get the o.k. approach the running like you have never done it before in your life! It will be an all new experience for those newly healed areas.
