Premarin 1.25

Hi everyone!
I posted this previously on the hormone jungle board but hope I can reach more of my sisters this way. Has anyone else had the experience of an acrid taste while taking premarin 1.25.
I have been on it for 3mos. and about two weeks ago, I started having this terrible taste. It is especially bad if I eat anything sweet. I stopped taking it for 2 days and the taste thing seemed to get better but the hot flashes started so I resumed taking it. I had a TVH on April 1, 2002 and started on hormones immediately. I don't understand if it is the premarin, why did it take 3 mos.to happen?
Anyone out there experience anything similar?

I was on Premarin 1.25 for a little over 3 months and did not notice any taste issues. Interesting, though.

I wonder if you might talk to the Pharmacist and inquire?

I started the Premarin 1.25 the day after surgery, almost eight weeks ago.

No problem with taste. I almost wish there was--I had hoped to lose some weight after surgery.
