How about a smile?

I am traveling to "the big city" late this afternoon with several other women from my office for a "girls night out". Long over due and desperately needed. We are going to a concert (haven't been to one in years!). I had noticed all the primo signals of major pms coming on, and sure enough this morning my mini period arrived. But I started laughing, because last year at this time it sure wouldn't have been a mini, it would have been a MAJOR MAXI and I would have been miserable if I were able to go to the show at all. Most likely would have cancelled due to excessive bleeding instead of just a few spots here and there, not to mention it would have taken large doses of pain meds to be able to sit thru the two hour drive, let alone the concert.

A little ray of sunshine for me.

I visited a new gp yesterday. Not sure she's going to be "the one", but I'm trying to be open minded.

Hope each of you ladies find a ray of sunshine out there for you today.

How about a smile?

Hope you have fun at the concert A girl's night out is just what the doctor ordered sometimes! Even if you don't feel great physically, you always feel better emotionally.
Good luck with your GP, my fingers are crossed. And you're right.............we have to try and find a positive side to everything. Some days that's hard but if we can summon one up then things always look a little brighter!

Creed!

Got home at 2am this morning, back at work at 7am.

The show was great. There was a huge crowd, but very well behaved and everyone was just truly enjoying the performance. The crowd ranged from young children (around age 4 was our guess) to grandparents. A little loud, but ear plugs take care of that. Band did a nice job of playing to the crowd, plus we had a great view.

Just what "Doctor Nel" ordered. Yeah! No where to go but up ladies, and it sure was an emotional lift.
