Well, "it" finally happened!

After waiting the full 6 weeks, my hubby and I made love for the first time in months! (I was in so much pain before the surgery that we could not have sex) It was a little uncomfortable, but much the same as before. I was able to climax with no problem, although I anticipated some. I feel relatively good since the surgery, however, I still get leg pains (what are those anyway?) and still have some discomfort with urination (had a bladder sling). I assume these will go away in time. The urologist is doing a sonogram for the urination pain, to make sure everything is ok. He says is probably scar tissue forming from the hyst.
Also, by the end of the day, I am all bloated. My tummy extends so much, I look pregnant. When I wake up in the morning, I look and feel normal again. Any suggestions? And what are the leg pains from?

Hope everyone heals quickly and painlessly! Hugs to all who need them,
Tammy

The Big O

Hubby and I tried last night. No avail. Glad you are doing good. I was so apprehensive about it - I think I just need to relax!
Good luck on your total recovery!

Well, "it" finally happened!

Glad you are back to making love with your DH!

I am 5 months post-op and still get the swelly belly on days I have been active. Sometimes after sex I have it too. My doctor said this is normal and it can take up to a year for all the swelling to go away.

You may want to call your doctor and tell them about the leg pain. Please keep us posyted on how you are doing!
