I read your letter, its really good! You mentioned that you take the biest in dissolved tablet form with prosterone. Are both hormones taken in this form? What is your dosage? Do you take any testosterone? What is the division of the estrogen? 80% estriol and 20% estradiol? And most of all, how do you feel? Sorry for so many question, but I know you understand.
Also, I just want to say, its an awsome website, I tell every other female that I know that they should check it out, it sure helps and its nice to know your far from being alone.

Hi Loula! I do understand!

I can try to answer your questions. My bi-est is actually 90/10 1.25 and progesterone 100 mg twice a day (although I forget the morning dosage many times) and yes, they are both in the same tablet. The fast dissolve tablets work well for me. They were first created by Pete H, the compounding pharmacist of college pharmacy. I've taken my HRT also in troche form (another thing that dissolves in my mouth but although they worked, it did take long to dissolve...but it was good. Either is my preferred method of HRT.) Cream or patch doesn't work for me because of a skin disorder....and swallowing...well, I don't want my HRT to go through the liver.

I do feel good although I have some night sweats occasionally and stress tends to provide the mess-up to my balance. I think our ovaries knew when to increase dosages for us!

I don't take testosterone because at this point, I have pretty good energy level and when tested, my levels were within normal range....I think my body changes some of the progesterone into testosterone.

I'm glad you are enjoying the website. I think its awesome that so many women are looking for answers, alternatives to the old standards and can find some ideas here!

It really is a good site and so informative. I have been on the vivelle dot 1 and I 'm fixin to change to the triest 1.25 bid and continue to use the progesterone cream. But for the last week I lowered my dot to the .05 and i feel pretty good. I am changing because my skin felt numb. Anyway, I guess I'll try the pills and see how that goes. I, like you, think that they really should not go through the liver first, but maybe it will be good. The compound pharmacist said I should feel really good in about 2 weeks. I'll have to ask her about disolving tablets and taking the prosterone along in the same fashion. Thanks for responding. I'd really like to know why the pharmacist has included estrone in the mix. I guess the ovaries produce more than estradiol.

Thanks again
