Watery Brownish discharge

I am going to see the doctor tomorrow morning. This is why...Last night I stood up and a watery brown discharge was dripping down my leg. I put a pad on and went to bed. This morning there was more on the pad (a little more than spotting). Then I put a clean pad on and within 30 minutes it was soaked with an orangey colored discharge. 30 minutes later it was more pinkish. So, I called my doctor, who wasn't in and the nurse spoke to the doctor who was in and said it sounded OK and not to panic and to come in tomorrow when my doctor would be there. I'm scared. I wasn't scared before or after my TAH on July 10th, but, now I'm truly scared. I have no fever and I'm in NO pain. Sore and tired, but, no pain. I have NOT overdone anything. Has this happened to anyone else out there? PLease advise and Thank You in advance.

Watery Brownish discharge

I had a little discharge that was brownish, but not that much! I did call the about it tho, and he said it was dissolving sutures and at the 2 week mark is the right time for it. But, with that much, I will look for you to reply what he said!
Good luck!

UPDATE

I saw the doctor this morning. She explained the 'bleeding' to me like this...After they remove the uterus they sew the vagina together and it is like a sock now. SOME women devolp a bruise like formation there at the tip of the sock. If it doesn't burst open and drain a woman can run a fever and have pain. The doctor will have go in and burst it. With me, it burst on its own and is now gone. No more bleeding ever. The reason it was brown in color is because it was old blood building up in there. She did the internal exam and said things are moving back into place, but, I'm still healing and to take it easy and stay out of this heat! Only gained 3 lbs too!! I thought I was a tubby! I can live with a 3 lb gain!! Later girls!!!

Watery Brownish discharge

Hi, I went & saw my Dr today for my 1st post-op appt. I was concerned also because of my discharge.
She told me the "discharge cycle" as she calls it is this: 1st you have a reddish discharge, then it goes to a dark murky brown (she described it like the last days of your period), then it goes to a yellowish. After this, we can even go vack to some reddish discharge as the stiches inside melt away. She said to expect it to smell pretty bad at times (oh joy) & to expect this for 6-8 weeks!
Yucky yuck I say...I didnt know this going in but am glad she explained it so well.
