Update on Feeling like an alligator!
Hello everyone, I just had to post an update to Feeling like an Alligator. I had posted a few weeks ago that I was suffering with awful dry skin and my hands were peeling quite severely. Well, doc had switched me from Climara patch to Vivelle Dot 0.1 mg because I was having a problem with Climara sticking after I had been outside in the heat. Miraculously my hands are back to normal. No more peeling. How strange is that? I thought Climara and Vivelle were basically the same, but obviously there is something different because that is the only thing I have changed and my hands are better. I still have drier skin on legs and arms than before surgery, but nothing a little moisturizer doesn't cure.
YIPEE!!!

Wow, isn't that something. One never knows what something can do. Glad your problem is taken care of, and you will no longer be an alligator.

So happy for you!!
I'm glad that you found your answer! I was kind of worried you had eczema/psoriasis... BELIEVE ME! You don't want to deal that THAT!
My hands are trying to get yucky again. I don't know why, but I was hoping after I got my "rotten parts" out, I'd miraculously HEAL. No such luck. A girl from chuch said her sister went to this chemical allergist in Louisville - people fly in from all over to see him, etc. I'd like to go see him but I don't have any insurance so for now, I'm stuck with it. *itch, scratch, whine*
I've tried everything in the world except for some of those really heavy drugs that have MAJOR side effects. (The last derm. I went to tried to put me on Methotrexate..... ACKKKKK!) The best results I've had so far have been from herbs and vitamins but I still have to fight it.
Um... You didn't ask for my life story, did ya? hahaha Sorry.

I am so sorry your cure wasn't as simple as mine. I have my fingers crossed that it was just the switch in hormone patch, but one can never be certain. I hope you find something soon to help you out.
