I had my dr.'s pre-op Friday, and I must say it went very well. I had about 12 questions and she answered the first 8 before I even asked them.
I have to take the Colyte stuff the day before surgery. She told me no food after noon the day before, which is labor day--what a bummer.
She also said the reason she has put this off for so long is because I am completely messed up inside; therefore, she will have an assistint dr., which has no bedside manners, and a urologist, which i was told was good.
She informed my fiance that when we are seperated for me to go into surgery that it may take up to 30 minutes because they have to do the rest of the prepping. She said that they will call back when the actually surgery has begun.
My doctor asked me if I was scared, which I am not. Lately I have been in so much pain, it's like the pain is progressing. She asked me if I have prayed about it...which I know that I am in the Lord's hands, if I don't survive we must remember that it was or is in the Master's hands.
I have my pre-op at the hospital this Tuesday, that will be exactly a week before surgery.
