1st Post Op Exam

Hi Sisters,
Just got home from my 4 wk. checkup . I was released for all activities (within reason) ! Hurrah!! But, I still have to go back in 3 weeks again. I am allergic to "catgut" as stitching material, so the doc had to use something else. As a result the stitches in my vaginal neck have not healed as quickly as the inside ones, plus I still, of course, have alot of healing to do inside. He's expecting some granulation and wants to keep tabs on it for awhile. But, I'm feeling great and everything seems to be going well. Still get tired in the afternoons, which is normal and he warned me about lifting "too heavy" things and trying to overdo. But, I still feel great knowing that I can do whatever I want within reason. I told him he was/is a great doctor (which he IS) and that this wasn't much worse than a bad period!!!
Blessings, janet LAVH/BSO -- Adenomyosis.

Yeah!!! So happy you are doing so well!!!

I had one of those great Drs too. I can't actually say I ever had what I would call "awful pain" . Never once!

Please keep resting. I know how tempting it is to overdo.
