Girdle?

Supposed to go back for my six week post op check up and she said at two weeks that she'd "check my girdle" or at least I think that's what she said. Anyone know what that means and what it consists of? Should I take extra pain meds in preparation?

I'm not sure what she meant by "checking your girdle" unless she means the pelvic girdle, which is just the bones of your pelvis.... she didn't do anything with them in the surgery though, did she? Wonder what else she could have said?

My six week checkup was pretty much a non-event. Didn't need pain meds at all. She did a quick internal, we talked about HRT and that was about it.

Let us know when you find out what she meant, I'm curious!
