An idea to help the hyster sister site......

I had posted this on the post op board, but thought I would share it with you ladies also.

I was thinking tonight of ways to help with the site, and I think I came up with something to not only help the site, but also many other women.
Someone recently posted asking for book recommendations. I told her I went to the library but so many of the books were very negative to me. Then I have been thinking, if I had found a book like Kathy's in the library it would have made me feel so much better.
My birthday is next week and my folks sent me some money. Here's what I plan on doing. I am going to buy the book Through the Land of Hyster, and donate it to my public library. That way some of the money goes to the site, and I hope it can help other ladies find answers in a positive light. Maybe it will lead some of them here for support or encourage them to buy a book for themselves. Either way, it's a win/win situation as far as I'm concerned. What a way to honor Kathy and give back some of what we've recieved. Just think, if we all bought just one book.....
I don't know about you ladies, but I don't know what I would have done without the support and friendship I have found here. We all know Kathy is basically supporting this site by herself, so this could be another way we can help.
This is just a suggestion, but I think it's a good one.

Yay Marie, what a great idea Anything that helps the site is a good thing, besides clicking and searching on the medical search engine, buying through the store is a great way of money going directly to the site

Marie, you're an ! I just bought Kathy's book from the Hyster Sister Book Store, plan to read it, then donate it to the Public Library. It's obvious you aren't suffering from too much brain to come up with such a brilliant idea. Keep the great ideas coming!
