prayers for a fellow sister (long story)

Hello ladies, I have a special prayer request for all of you, but first please listen to this story.

I have been posting here for almost a month because of my own surgery that took place on August 21st for TAH for adeno and fibroids, everything went well. Anyway I have enjoyed all the support I have received since then and will continue to post here forever, this is a god send!

This evening I went to the live chat room, which I love so much and have met some very loving ladies there. Well tonite as we were chatting a sister came into the room, one I have never met before. One person recognized her and shouted hello. she responded to her questions of well being as "Not well at all" , maybe a few of us expected, ( I know I did) that she was referring to her recovery. If it only was that simple. This women (whom I don't want to give out her name yet) began to tell us all her real problem. If anyone who was in the chat room on 9/3 early morning sees this, they'll know whom I talking about.

This women/mom told us how she has been trying to deal with the horror of having her 19yr old daughter missing since July 4th with no trace of her, she has vanished without a trace. She is from the Maryland area and her daughter was at the beach with friends, went separate ways and was supposed to meet back up with them at a arranged time and never showed back up. The police have no clues to where she could be and she has not heard a word from her dd. I can honestly tell you ladies that my heart dropped and I began to weep for this mother who is one of our own sisters.

I must add to this that I felt so incredibly terrible during this chat because I was just recently complaining to my dh about our own 15yr old daughter who I'm having some tough times with right now, complaining about her smart mouth attitude towards me. After chatting a long time with this women and the others , I went in an hugged my sleeping 15 yr old daughter and kissed her, I'll take her smart mouth anyday, as long as I have her. God help this women, I can't begin to imagine her horror.

I have personally never met nor known anyone who has gone through this horrible nightmare of not knowing where your baby is no matter how old, my heart sobs for this mother. I would like to ask for prayers be sent to this mom who is not knowing how she is to go on with life not knowing where her precious baby girl is. Please open your hearts to pray for her and this young girl (19 yrs old).



Dear heavenly father, I ask you to open your loving arms and enfold this family with your love that they may be reunited soon. Give this women strength to endure the pain she is suffering right now. Please loving father, protect this child from all evil and give her the strength to return home to her loving family, protect her father, send your army of angels around her and protect her. Guide her safely home to her momma, help the police find her Oh Lord, help this family in this trial of need, show them your presence in their lives and let them know you are near to them. I have faith in you Lord to help and protect this child and this family. Oh heavenly father here these prayers for this child and this family...In your loving name Amen

Dear father God, we lift up our dear sister before you, this Mom arms are empty and her heart is breaking, she has a heavy burden resting on her right now, she needs your loving arms around her, her child is missing and she needs you to hold her together, give her strength and courage to get through this, surround this child with your powerful and Holy protection keep her safe and bring her back to her mother so that this Mom can once again, give this child, love only a Mom can give. Bless the family and comfort their hearts and give them peace of mind. We humbly ask this special prayer, in your Precious name, Amen.

Lord, I ask that you surround this family with Your love and comfort during this most difficult time. Every person is created by You and is greatly loved by You. You also hurt deeply when Your children are in pain and distress. Father, I pray that You protect this child of Yours from harm and that she returns to her family. I pray this in Jesus' name.
