Scalp Sores/SORES BELOW!

I am about 15 weeks post op. I feel great....EXCEPT.......now I am getting sores in my scalp. AND since I started using Testosterone cream, I know am having boil/sores BELOW! Anyone had any of these kinds of changes. My complexion has changed. Dr's office said until my hormones get regulated a facial outbreak isn't uncommon. let me know if any of you ladies have had these minor, but bothersome side effects.

Scalp Sores/SORES BELOW!

Hello! Yes, I've gone round and round with the scalp sores. I noticed when I started going through perimenopause (before surgery) that I'd get them just before I got my period. Now post op, I get them sometimes when I'm tweaking my HRT and things are sort of "in flux". Acne (which is what this is, it's just in your scalp and "other" areas) is common especially when you have a high testosterone level (I do).

It may be that your testosterone level is a bit high, or it may be that you're just not leveled out yet. You may want to ask your DR to get your hormone levels checked and see how you're doing. BTW I've found that tea tree oil helps heal them, but it won't prevent you from getting new ones.

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
s,
-Linda
