pillow vs....

Hi all..

I'm sure this has been brought up somewhere before this..but I haven't seen it and want to pass along.

I am 11 days post op from TAH, bikini incision, all is healing fine. I started out using a pillow against my abdomen while taking my small walks, but have graduated to a pair of control top undies. So comfortable and the same amount of pressure as the pillow...but hands free!
My operating room nurse made the suggestion just prior to me going into surgery...and it popped back into my head a couple of days ago. I tried it and it's really helped in a general overall feeling thoughout the day. For the past three days I've been able to make it through the day without any pain meds , tylenol, or otherwise.

Wanted to pass this along in the event that anyone else out there may be able to benefit from the tip!

NOTE: Not meant to flatten the tummy area...just enough pressure to make all feel secure in there..just like the pillow!!
