8 week post op and having a laparoscopy next friday

Well it has been decided I am scheduled for surgery next week. My new dr is going to go in and clean the scar tissue and adhesions and the cysts that my old dr left behind. My back has been hurting since 3 weeks and my bladder has been crazy since I came home from the castle. I do not want to go under again.

Has anyone else had this happen? I just want to feel better allready. I am tired of telling every one I don't feel good, and the my baby (3) asking if mamas tummy still hurts. I just need to know that this is it you know?

More surgery needed......

Many s on you!!! We all feel for you, more surgery is a drag! I am sending you positive energy & a get well prayer. Even tho this hasn't happened to me, I hope that it is the last time for you!! Rest as much as you can, can your little girl sleep over at a relative or friends home for the first few days?

So sorry

I have not been in your situation either, but wanted to send you encouragement.

All I can offer is my experience with the reverse. Had the Laparoscopy last November to remove endo and adhesions, then had the hyst 9 months later. The lap is much less difficult to recover from because there's no big incision. You will feel so much better a week or two after they get all that out.

Take care,

Songsister

Thank you ladies for your kind words and encouragement. It has not hit me yet that I am having surgery next week, so i feel pretty calm for now anyway. I will keep you posted.

Recovery ????

For anyone who had had one for similiar reasons what is the recovery time for this surgery? Are the restrictions the same as a hyster?
