Combi patch w/ Endom.

Hi,
I'm 43 and the dr found I was FULL of endom. at sx time. It was on my rectum, colon, bladder and overies. Dr was surprised I ever got PG and had 2 kids! So, I was started on a combi patch. (estrog/progest) for only 3 months. After that I will use estrog. patch only. Where did/does the 3 month time frame come from??? How is that determined?
Thanks

Combi patch w/ Endom.

There's a lot of controversy around the use of HRT for women with endometriosis. Some docs won't use it at all - or not for some period of time - hoping that the endometriosis will dry up. Others use progesterone only HRT or estrogen/progesterone combinations.

I take it your endometriosis was asymptomatic?
