I just had my tah/bso on 9/25 2002 and just wanted to tell all you wonderful girls out there that I would not have made it thru pre-op and post-op nearly so well with out you. So many times my questions and worries before surgery were answered by you wonderful girls who have been there and done that. I am happy to report that my surgery did go very well and now I an laying around the house recuperating. I must admit I am getting antsy and wish the soreness would go away sooner, but I know this all will pass too. Thanks a thousand times over to all of you who held my hand as I faced and went thru surgery. I love you all and wish you all happy days!

Hello, fellow Nebraska You're the first one I've seen on here with recent posts, I was starting to think I was the only one here ! Glad to hear everything went so well for you.

You're right, this web site has been so fabulous for asking questions, support, caring, etc. I found it just about a week before my hyst and wish I'd found it a lot sooner. I was 4 weeks post yesterday and definitely feeling better. First week, sore but fine, second week I over did things (and paid), had a couple of down days last week, and now here I am!

It all gets better from here.
