totally confused here.......,m

i have read and heard several stories about weight gain, here and other places as well as from different ppl. but... my cousin had a hysterectomy several years ago, and lost a ton of weight i'm talking 40 pounds easy. when asked how did you lose so much weight??? she simply said.. i had a hysterectomy.... i am not too over weight but who wants to gain any weight at all??? please tell me everybody doesn't gain. are there any sisters that lost weight? also what are the factors that causes the weight gain? hrt's? removing ovaries??? what??? sorry to sound so freaked but i guess i am...lol.....

I had a TAH/BSO in June of this year and I lost 5 pounds right out of the hospital; since then I've lost about 20 more pounds.

My surgery was 9/25 and I've lost 12 pounds. Everything takes so much effort (and I've had an easy recovery), you just burn up the calories!

Your replies sound promising. I have been on Weight Watchers since April and have lost 28 pounds. I would hate to gain them back. I am only 10 pounds from goal. Here's to good eating!

good for you... sounds like weight watchers is the way to go. is it very hard to follow? i always have the best intention but then give in ..lol
