Estroven to the rescue?

I purchased estroven and estroven joint and bone. I currently take multi-vitamins and tums for the calcium. However, I have problems with my legs, joints, hurting. Anyone tried the estroven? I think I'll wait until my doc appt scheduled for the 22nd and ask her, too. I'm seeing her due to a lump on my breast. Question is, should I start them and do I still need the multi-vitamins? Also having "warm flushes", so thought these would help. I would love to hear from anyone currently using these products, and how they're doing.

Thanks!!!

Hi

I took Estrovan a few years ago before my tah and was doing ok. Now I am off my anti depressants for mood swings and am back on it because my GYN told me to start with some soy. I am doing well with it so far. It's only been a week though so I will see.

I go back for my last visit post op on the 8th of November.

I go in for blood work Next week so see what my hormone levels are. They kept saying they were normal but I don't know about that because I still have nasty hotflashes, night sweats and I was having mood swings. They seem to have toned down. that's something good.

I will keep ya'll posted.

Estroven is out!!!

Well, I went to my doc and after a mammo and ultrasound, my
lump proved to be a benign cyst. Hurrah!! However, now I am unable to take anything with "soy" in it, according to the surgeon.

So back to the drawing board, once again. I am thankful for the good news, but would really like to feel good again....

My doctor actually recommended Prozac for hot flashes, but told him mine were not that bad. My problems are the all-over aches and pains that I get daily. My other doctor stated I could have fibromyalsa? So received a prescription for Celebrex. Anyone else out there with this?

congrats

I am glad to here that your lump is benine (sp) that is just great!
I understand about the soy thought. I have been on and off soy so for years in just the soy milk area due to not being able to drink milk. upsets my stomach.

I hope you have good luck in all esle.

Estroven to the rescue?

Patti,s

I am so so happy to hear this good news......I suffer with fibromylagia since 96...But lots of sisters since surgery now suffer with Fibro.......

I am under the care of a rheumatoligist, And she is the dr.That really understands and treats this...My GP is wonderful but she is the one who told me to see a Rheumy......

Ask the DR about joint support supplements....Iam on anti-inflames as well but the joint supplement seems to give me that extra help.........

Try the heat pad on the spots that hurt......neck...back.......legs....etc.......

Keep posting , Let us know how your doind OK???
