Dr. Referral in Far West Suburbs?
Hey Xena.
I had my TAH due to a plethora of problems dating back to when I was 17. I had a molar pregnancy at the age of 18 which included ovarian cysts, adhesions from my c-sections and tubal, irregular periods that came every 3 weeks and lasted for 7 to 10 days, clotting, intense pain, etc. I had a laparoscopy in 1998 to identify and remove the adhesions, and felt ok for about a year. For the last 3 years I've been in huge amounts of pain again, so hubby finally talked me into going back to the doc. I went to 3 gyn's before I had my hyst, but all that happened within a 3 month period. I thought the last doc was ok, but it seems like she has disregarded most of my concerns and I always feel worse after I talk to her. I need someone sensitive and understanding, as well as someone who believes in what I'm going through and is willing to do whatever it takes to help me. I did get a personal referral from my GP, whom I adore and admire, as well as one from my ex-MIL. I'm gonna start there and see where it leads me. Thanks for replying to my post. Are you from around here?
