anxiety--help

I've been experiencing alot of chlostrophobia and now starting to have anxiety attacks. Getting scary. It's been 4 months post op and I am not taking any hrt. I am on zoloft 100 mg daily and that don't seem to be working like it used to. Does someone have any answers for me? I asked my son's psychologist or whatever he is about this and he advised that I contact my OB-GYN especially since I have had my ovaries out. Said it is possible that since I don't have anything left that my without those hormones, I am out of balance. Is that why I am so tired and achy also? I work 4 nites a week in the middle of the nite and when I do go to sleep I only sleep for a very short while. Sometimes I will wake up every 15 to 30 minutes. I read the article that Trish has posted in regards to anxiety and all but I just would like some advice from some others that are experiencing the same thing and what they have done. Thanks so much. confused.bmp

JuJuBe,
Yes by all means taking no hormones after having your ovaries are removed can cause all the symptoms you described and more. I agree that you should go to your doctor immediately. Why is it that you are not taking any hormones?

Anxiety attacks were a big thing for me in the beginning. I ended up in the ER thinking I was just going to die.. Of course I wasnt but it was just awful. My endocrinologist suspected low estrogen levels and recommended that my gyn raise the estrogen. It did the trick for me. No attacks since then. I would certainly talk to your doc about this. I know just how awful these attacks can be. I remember a time when I just wanted out of my body one way or the other. It can be a real serious problem but fairly short lived with proper hormone levels. S

Cenestin

Well the dr put me on cenestin. Started it today. Hopefully that will take care of the anxiety attacks, etc. I certainly hope so. How long does it usually take to see any type of effects? The nurse told me 2-3 months. I need it alot sooner than that. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.:confuse:

2-3 months is for the full effets....you should start to feel better in 1-2 weeks or sometimes less. let us know how you are doing...if this doesn't work there still other options.
