great to be home!!

From the first person I talked to on Thursday morning, I was lobbying with everyone to be able to go home that night and finally got the approval to do so about 4pm. I had only to wait for my prescription at five and by the time DH arrived from work I was ready - and exhausted enough from the excitement to go straight to bed. Friday at home was so peaceful in comparison to the chaos of the hospital environment (one of the wards had to be closed down due to a virus infection, so emergency patients were being brought into the gynaecology ward).

I still have my staples in - they are to be removed on Monday - so sitting at the computer is very uncomfortable, but just wanted to let everyone know things worked out fine for me.

BTW, I kind of avoided reading much on the post-op side before I went in (didn't want to get myself stressed unnecessarily) and now I regret it, as I don't have the energy at the moment.

My best wished to the rest of the girls punctured with me (and indeed to all of you).

Wow welcome home! that was really fast and hope the rest of your recovery is uneventful. Remember to accept the pampering of the princess as many sisters are still in the hospital while you are sending updates.

Time management isn't my forte but I want to add my best wishes for your recovery....there is light at the end of the tunnel but don't be in a rush to see the daylight...so to speak....
