Gotta tell you where I'm going!!!!

A special honor and priviledge has come my way! And I am just too excited not to share it with you all!!
Back in September I was a speaker at the Ovarian Cancer Whisper Walk in Philadelphia that was sponsered by the Natl Ovarian Cancer Coalition. I represented advanced disease in a first remission. Basically I just told the tale of my life for the past sixteen months, and how I had dealt with this beast. Of course Hystersisters and Cancer Concerns are a large part of my coping mechanism!!!! This was my first time with public speaking. About two weeks after the Walk I got a call from the president of the Phila Chapter. She invited me to Ft Lauderdale Florida for their annual leadership conference all expenses paid!
I was so honored and basically down right thrilled!!!!! So I'll be gone from Thursday till Monday afternoon. Anything new I learn, you all learn. So a little piece of all of you will be traveling with me.

WOW! How wonderful for you! You must be a natural born speaker! Maybe this newfound talent will take you to many more exciting locations! And how rewarding it must be for you to take your life experience and use it to reach out to other women.
