Help! Endo return this soon???

Hi everyone! I am 3 weeks post-op and this is when I "would have been" having my period if I had not had the surgery. Last night I had severe cramping just like when I would have my period. It was more severe on the left (took my ovary and endo from there) but was cramping on the right side as well. My gyn had planned to start me on Lupron yesterday (to get rid of any microscopic endo). However, I had to reschedule my appt. until 11/20 due to lack of transportation. Is it possible that microscopic endo could have grown in a mere 3 weeks?? Or am I getting carried away and it was just post-op stuff??? I ended up taking 2 Aleve and a Lortab 5mg which helped, but I am still concerned. Any words of wisdom from you sisters would be greatly appreciated.

Help! Endo return this soon???

Hi Vicki

I'm the same surgery day as you. I didn't know I had endo until I had my tah/bso. I was only supposed to have day surgery for an ovarian cyst - surprise! I've been doing alot of research since then! From what I've read I think it's quite unlikely the endo would have come back so soon.
Lots of the gals on the site talk about 'phantom' cramps. That part doesn't seem uncommon. You might want to do a search and read some of those threads.
I'll be interested in what your dr has to say though, keep me posted.

Good luck,
