sex after partial hysterectomy?

I go to the doc on Monday and I am pretty sure she is going to recommend a hysterectomy. We have tried everything else. This is all that is left. I am 34 years old and freaked out about having sex and orgasms after this operation. Nobody seams to want to talk about this. I hope I found the right site. Is anybody out there willing to speak frankly on this topic?

I am 35. We are by no means the youngest around here. I felt young until I saw sisters in their early 20s posting and that helped me not to feel sorry for myself.

I will be 34 years old on the 29th of this month and a divorced mom to 4. I had a TAH/LSO 3 weeks ago so, I can't really tell you about the post-op side as far as sex and orgasm goes just yet. However, I have a WONDERFUL man in my life now and I anxious to find out (hurry up 6 weeks!!). I haven't had Intercourse yet, but have had OUTERcourse....and the orgasms were more intense than EVER before! I am a very sexual person, and I was scared to death, but my Sisters here have reassured me, it is going to ROCK! I have about a week and a half before I get the thumbs up to do the Deed......I can't wait!
