menopause books worth reading!

About a month or so ago a review of a book on menopause was written about. I think it may have been Surferbabe that reviewed the book. Does anyone remember the title or can you recommend any "must reads" that aren't terribly involved! Thanks!

menopause books worth reading!

Lablady,
I would recommend a book by Dr Uzi Reiss called Natural Hormone Balance. Dr John Lee's "What your doctor doesn't tell you about Menopause" is also very good.

menopause books worth reading!

i tried to check your profile to see how old you were but age was not there....if you are 35+ i would highly recommend "the wisdom of menopause" by dr. christiane northrup. she address the whole woman in relation to menopause.

menopause books worth reading!

Hi Lablady! The books (((Kim))) and (((Cynthia))) mentioned are all good ones, and I wanted to add a couple more: One is "Screaming to be Heard" by Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet and the other is "Natural Hormone Replacement for Women Over 45" by Jonathan V. Wright MD and John Morgenthaler.
Hope this helps!
Happy Reading!
s,
-Linda

Thank you...

Thanks so much for the suggestions. Not only do I want to read them, I thought a good menopause book would make a nice Christmas gift for a few of my friends! FYI...Cynthia...I'm 49 and holding!
