bladder pain or normal post op pain, how to tell?

I am post op day 12 and continue to experience the same pain I had the LAVH for. It is midline and heavy, aching, and gets worse when up on my feel. Is this from my bladder or something else...my uterus is gone...my right sided pain from a benign tumor is gone...any ideas?

urine tested negative

just to clarify...my urine tested negative for an infection...see a urologist on thurs....was originally diagnosed with 'pelvic congestion' but they found a benign tumor on the right and removed it and the uterus had adenomyosis. thanks for any ideas...that was..worse on my feet, not feel!

You could be experiencing bladder spasms. I had them post -op and my dr. gave me Detrol LA . It helped a bunch. Your still early in recovery and so it could be normal healing taking place. If this is something new or overwhelming you need to call your Dr. or since it is late, go to the ER. I also used a "corn bag" that I heated in the microwave and place over a tummy pillow. A heating pad on low would do the same. Some Dr. prefer ice packs instead of heat. I hope you start feeling better and get some here is a link to the home page. Down at the bottom are some pull down menus. The Post-op menu has some more information on bladder problems.
