Had lupron shot...can I have teeth worked on??

Sounds like a dumb questions....but can I have a filling put in my tooth....does having a lupron shot effect anything...anyone know..or had teeth worked on while on lupron?? I had the 3 mth shot back in oct!! Thanks!!!

That's a very good question, unfortuantely I don't have an answer for you.

The best thing to do would be to call your Dentist and ask them. Some Dentist might require pre-med of anit-biotics for certain procedure and some might need clearance from medical Drs in case of possible bleeding problems.

Better to be safe than sorry and just give the DDS a call. But, please let us know what they tell you. I bet lots of other ladies could benefit from this information.

Please call your Dentist to be sure. I can tell you from my own experience and 6 months on Lupron that I wish I had asked ahead of time.

Had root canal done and what a horrible experience !! Tooth has been hurting ever since and still have big hole in my tooth !!
I won't let them touch it for the time being. While they won't admit the Lupron had anything to do with it, I'm not so sure !!
