hernia ??

Hi All,

I posted a note a couple weeks ago about moving some stuff and feeling a pull in my pelvis. I finally went to get it checked out today. It's been just worse and worse. My DR said I have a Hernia. It's on the left side of my surgery sight. She's sending me to General Surgen. I can't beleive THIS!! I cried in her office. The last thing I want to do is have another surgery.

I guess all I can say is even at 2 1/2 months post-op we can't be lifting heavy things! For those of us who have a hard time with having patients with our recovery...let this be a lesson!!!

I too am so sorry you will be facing more surgery Its hard post-op exp when you are feeling better, not to try and jump back into our old routines and doing things we used to....please keep us posted...((((hugs))))

Hi Lor!!

I'm so sorry your having to deal with the pain of a hernia....There are several of us here on the road that just had surgery to repair our hernia's. Each of us had a different experience with it but one thing I can say is I'm glad they found yours early...If a hernia does go to long it can cause some major problems.

If you do a search on "hernia" you'll find lots of info from other sisters about just this thing and you can also see what the surgery entails for some. Everyone is different but at least it will give you some info on what you may expect.
