Post-op hysterectomy

Hello ladies I'm just home from the castle. Except for the first few hours post-op I have'nt experienced alot of pain. The nurses all said I was doing very well. Both tubes and ovaries removed hormone therapy to start later today, no side effect felt yet from lack of estrogen. Was able to void within an hour of foley being removed. I did experience a lot of post-op nausea and some vomiting yesterday but today I ate a full solid breakfast. I had a mepergan (pain pill) before I left the castle and my thoughts a disjointed. I pray everyone had a pleasant castle visit.

Welcome Home

Greetings from Tennessee

Glad to hear that you are home and doing well. Try to rest and drink lots of water. Even though you feel great don't overdo. I did and ended up with a relapse back to full bed rest for a week. Let us know if you need anything.
