Okay now I am taking Estradiol, Progesterone & Testosterone 1/50/2.5mg 1/16 of a tsp. tried it last night first time today feel really tired, irritable, crying alot with hot flashes what the heck is going on??? I felt better the last 2 weeks on nothing than I have today why? Is is the progesterone? Also when I have sex I bleed a little bit but it goes away but today no sex and I have been bleeding just a little bit. Could it be from the dryness?

I just don't know what to do now every time I get a cream made up it cost be big bucks I just can't afford this any more!!!!

Michele, I'm sorry you're not feeling better. Did your doctor say how long it would take for the new hormones to kick in? I think it can take several weeks.

As for the bleeding with sex, I had that and thought it was from vaginal dryness. Turns out I had granulation tissue at almost 7 months post op. My doctor recommended that I try Astro Glide lubricant which has helped with the dryness. I'm also on Vagifem for the dryness, and take Estratest HS.

I finally got scheduled for a consultation with the compounding pharmacist. The earliest they could get me in is December 9! Woe is me and my missing libido. This compounding process is taking a lot longer than I expected.

Michele,
Did you get the hormones compounded all in one cream??? Perhaps getting them compounded separtely would be better. This way you can tweak and adjust one at a time. When they're all in the same cream it is hard to know what is causing what and you can't tweak one without tweaking the other.

I would definetly give the doc a call about the bleeding. As April stated it could be something as simple as granulation, but you really need to let the doc know.
