Finally good news

Doc called today and said all my tests came back good and I am good to go for Monday. YEAH!! She will be keeping me in till 12/12. She said with a 4 year old at home and my hubby not handling it to well now she would rather keep me at the castle. She put in my disability paperwork for a return date of 03/03/03. That seems way far away. Has anyone else had a return date this far out. I can not afford to be out for this long. Maybe its just my nerves talking. But 03/03 WOW! I will just keep counting the days.

Finally good news

Hey (((Rachelle)))
I am glad your tests came back good! It is sad you have to have the surgery but I am sure it will make you feel so much better after you recouperate.
I hope you do well once you get home from the castle. I am sorry your dh is not handling all this very well.

I dont believe I have ever heard of a sister getting as long off work as your doctor is giving you.....I dont know your situation personally but use the time she has given you to get the rest you deserve and get some quality time with your dh and darling dd. The more pampering, the better.

I hope you and your family do well after this is done.

I will keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers things work out great for you.

Hi Rachelle,

I'm glad that all your tests came back OK, and that you have such an understanding doctor. She may have put the date of March 3rd just to be sure that your employer wouldn't expect to see you any earlier than that. But, if you are doing well, and she feels it's OK, you might be able to return to work sooner than that. It really is going to depend on how extensive your surgery is, and how well you heal.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers on Monday.

Good News

Glad your tests came out good. I feel sure your surgery will go well and I hope for you a very speedy recovery.

I have only worked on this job for 6 months, so I can't get disability pay. I do, however have a week of sick leave and two weeks off for Christmas. I have my surgery on the 16th, Lord Willing, and will return to work on January 6th. I am having a TAH/BSO. Hope I'm not rushing it but I am only 44 and other than this in good health. I have two kids in college so need that paycheck!! If your doctor thinks you need until March and you can be away from work that long...go for it!!

Hang in there...I'm praying for ya!!
