Dermoid Cyst

When I had my hysterectomy they had to remove my right ovary due to a Dermoid Cyst. Has anyone else had this type of cyst and they didn't explain to me what it was and at the time I never thought to ask - I told them to just get rid of it. I would appreciate any info anyone has on this. My dr is out of town until the 18th - so I was just curious. Thanks for all the support everyone has given me to help me make it this far (4 weeks post op 12/10)

Hi Jane, I did a search on Dermoid's and found several threads that were talking about them. Here is one that had some information on it that might help you.

If you want to see any and all posts that mention Dermoid Cysts, go to the top of the page, click on search, and type Dermoid into the subject line, then select search. This will give you all the posts where someone at least mentions Dermoid.
