burning lower left side ..muscle???

hello ~ this site has been so great ... each day ... as one thi gets better a new symptom seems to take its place ~ .. though in better spirits everyday...i still have this burny burny sharp pain just to te left of my incision ... i have a fatty belly any way and my muscles were weak before surgery... i keep thinking that by little bits of walking ... and patience it will subside ... but if im on my feet for more then a 1/2 hour the burning begins ... it takes forever to get into a sitting position then it finally starts to subside till i get up again .... what is it ~~~~~what NOW ...geeeeeez any one else ...
it feels like a knife ...or someone left a big ole sharp tool in that side ...

Hi Collette!

It might be a good idea for you to give your doctor a call about the pain you are experiencing. I was told during my recovery that if I experienced any new pain I should call my doctor. Keep us posted on how you are doing. Take care.
