pressure/pain in lower abdomen

I am 4 1/2 wks post LAVH and have this pressure/pain in the lower part of my abdomen to the point of burning. It feels almost like my insides are going to come out. The pain goes away when I sit down. I have a feeling it is from standing or walking for extended periods of time. Has anyone else had/have this feeling?

Yes! I have the same thing. I called my doc to ask him about it and he said that this is common from a major surgery.

I said it feels like my 'stuffing' is going to come out of me. Remember the Care Bears?

I feel like I have pressure vaginally and lower abdomen.

I don't get relief though when I sit down.

Most generally it stems from me doing too much.

Hi Christy


I was just thinking it could be your bladder, maybe a bladder infection or UTI. You might want to drop by the doctors office and let them check. This could cause you some discomfort.
