Goals for the New Year!

Tis the season of good food and drink and spending time with family and freinds. But with it comes New Years Resolutions, which statistically most people fail to follow through on. I refuse to be one of those people~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am asking my best sisters to commit to not being a statistic!!!!! Lets be the Winners not the norm!! I hate being normal

Here is my list for the New Year.

1. To make time for me. We tend to forget to do that.
2. To lose the remainder of my weight.
3. To exercise as that is sooooooooo important
4. To make time for my family and friends.
5. To be the best mom and wife I can!

To take some time and smell the roses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think we forget how precious life is.

Now my goals are not in order. To me they are all equally important.

Can you tell I have lots of time this morning.

I can't wait to hear yours.

Goals for the New Year!

Thanks, Katie - I've been thinking about goals but hadn't gotten to the point of being specific enough to write them down. I'll be working on it and let you know. Might take a while, though. Busy time of year, what with all that merrymaking to do!!

Happy Holidays!

Goals for the New Year!

I haven't made a New Year's resolution in years...for exactly the reason Cath mentioned. But putting them here will help me not to be a statistic...maybe...

1. Get back to being organized. Too many problems recently because I forgot or said "later".

2. Make more time to enjoy the grandkids.

3. Make exercise a part of every day.

4. Water...... I've got to do the water thing every day.

That's a good start.

Goals for the New Year!

I gave up making resolutions years ago since it seemed that I was never able to live up to them. But ok........here goes:

1. I will be more patient with my mom and my dh. Why is it that the people we love the most are the ones we take out our frustrations on??

2. I will not gain back the weight I lost in the last year.........and I will possibly even lose a few more pounds.

3. I WILL make time for me (thank you Cath/Katie!! )

4. I will try not to get so stressed about silly little things that don't matter much in the long run anyway.

5. I will try to enjoy life to the fullest because you just never know..........and things can change in an instant.

6. I WILL catch a bigger bass than my biggest to date (6.5 lbs) somehow, somewhere!!!

Goals for the New Year!

Great idea!

My resolution for this year is to stay on the path to better eating and more activity for me and my family. That would mean more days OP than not. More days drinking my water than not. More active days than lazy days!

I have been posting at BEST and the thread before that (Hi Everyone... for over 1 year now. I am down 65 pounds in that one year. I WILL NOT PUT IT BACK ON!

Thanks BEST gang!
