Post LEEP update for CIN III/CIS

again, Ladies!

Well, I had the LEEP done on Monday morning. I was SOOOO nervous, but made it through just fine. I remember nothing after going into the OR. Very tired afterward, and have since developed the RARE post LEEP infection. Yippee....NOT!

Doc called in some potent antibiotics yesterday, and I've been taking those. Still really crampy, but gyn says that's to be expected if I have an infection. Wants to see me tomorrow if I'm not feeling better.

Just thought I would update you gals on what has happened since the LEEP. If the infection clears, then I won't have to see the gyn until 01/17 for the post-LEEP visit. Pathology results will be available by Jan 6. I will call for results of that.
Thanks for all of your support, and for tirelessly answering my long lists of concerns and questions.

s to all!

Paula

(((Paula)))

I'm so glad that your LEEP went well! Bummer about the infection though. I hope you are feeling better. Please let us know when your biopsy results come back in. Hopefully they will show clear margins and then you will be finished with this! Now get plenty of rest so you heal quickly.
