Went back to work....

I had my first official day back today. I think I was ready - I'm 7+ weeks post and definitely feeling much better. Still have aches and such, and still get tired, but I'm much much better. A week ago, I wasn't really ready to do this and wondered how I would ever make it onto the train (I commute to North Jersey) for a long day. But today I was ready!!! Even my brain seems to be doing better!!!!! Only once did I walk to another office to get something and have no idea why I was there. LOL.

DH ordered in Chinese take-out for dinner. Now I have my feet up, I'm sipping some decaf my DD just brought me along with a chocolate biscotti, and my lap top is doubling as a heating pad for my not too swelly tummy.

To those earlier in their recoveries who might be wondering if it ever gets better, the answer is YES, it does!!! Wishing everyone a Happy and much healthier new year!!
