How about shingles?

Yep, I thought it was a spider bite on my rear-end (believe it or not!!!) although I wondered how on earth I could get a spider bite on my butt when I've been on my back for days, this was 5 days post op. I called my DR first and they said to call my GP, they wanted to see me right away. She took one look and told me it was shingles, the chicken pox virus that resides in your spine and can be triggered by stress, surgery, etc. I couldn't tell if the symptoms were surgery related or not, but in any case they put me on meds and I'm much better. In my post op appt, they took urine sample and found white blood cells so put me on antibiotics, so we'll just wait and see about the dreaded yeast infection LOL. Other than the normal gas pains and just an all around tired feeling, I'm getting much better, still taking it real easy though.
