My "last period" party! *party*
I replied last week to a post about a last period before surgery. In that reply, I said i thought I might work in just one more period before my surgery. Well, I WAS RIGHT! Even though it is just as horrible as the other ones, I am laughing, because it will be my last one!
I think I got the period just to remind myself how much I need this surgery. Doctor suspects adenomysosis, and maybe endo and fibroids. Chronically enlarged uterus, polycystic ovarian syndrome!
Ain't life funny!
Castle on Tuesday, here I come!

My "last period" party! *party*
WOOHOO!!! I had my last one on Dec. 17th. Doesn't it feel great?!?!?! I can tell that I am ovulating right now because I am breaking out, but it will never get a chance to happen unless for some reason I am really early because I am like clockwork.
Never again is a good feeling! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

My "last period" party! *party*
I'm 9 months Post now, but I do remember my last period. It was the best one I ever had, just knowing it was my last one.
I remember calling both of my grown daughters and gloating that I was having my last period.
Take care and remember to be good princesses when the time comes

Thanks for replying, you guys! I went shopping today for a robe that zips up (as opposed to mine that ties), pajamas (I am a "t-shirt" person, but people may be visiting!), and things to pamper myself like a gel mask to put in the fridge for my eyes, gel lotion socks at Bath and Body Works (since I won't be bending over to put lotion on my feet for awhile).
I then went to work to get a few things to work on tomorrow (Sunday) and drop off at the office after my pre-ops on Monday. Then, Tuesday, I will be a "princess" too!
I had been getting nervous, but I actually feel excited right now. Having that last period, and wanting not to do it again, definitely helped me get excited for Tuesday!

My "last period" party! *party*
Hey, a party!?!?! Can i come????
My last period was in April last year....that's because i went onto a Zoladex drug trial and it stops them. However, as i've been out of the trial for six months now, the doctor is a little surprised that they haven't started again.
I of course am jubilent!!! I NEVER want another, but i have a sneaking suspicion that a little last one may sneak in, rather like yours, before i have my hyst in April this year. I hope that i'm wrong!!
I had to smile at the person who said that they had realised it had been a year since their last period, and did they miss them...NO! I know how that feels!! God i can't wait. Even though i've not had one since April, i now that they will eventually start up again, and there is always that DREAD around party time, or especially around Christmas when i knew the little darling would arrive unexpectedly.
But hey, enjoy the party!
Good luck
Blade.

I love parties!
My TAH is scheduled the Monday after my birthday, so I felt it appropriate to celebrate my exit from the womb as well as the exit of my womb in one fell swoop...baha...
Have fun - all of you are in my prayers!

My "last period" party! *party*
I can remember my last period, it was 4 months ago just before my surgery and it was the easiest one that I had had in many years and I thought that since it was so easy that I might just cancel my hyst.....but my SO said NO!!!!!!
I haven't had one since and it felt sooooo great throwing away those tampons but I kept the pads cause I have a little bladder problems at times. But you will be sooooo happy when it is over and you will soon realize that there is life after a hyst and you will feel so much better.
So get out the chocolates and enjoy.....And go visit the sisters in the chat room and have fun for your period party.....
TAH/BSO 8/20/02 for fibroids & endo
On Vivelle dot 0.1mg for hrt but need to get it bumped up, but other than that doing well thank you
