waiting on pathology results - again

Hi Ladies, I had a tah/bso in July for precancerous uterine tumors. My pathology results were benign - I thought that I was home free! Well, not quite it seems. I got a call from my dr that I needed to come in for a pap , so I did. I asked why so soon and he said to check that no "stray" cells were missed. So now I wait for another 10 days or so for the results. The worse part is that if it's abnormal I might have to do chemo - small dosage, but chemo! Has anybody else ever heard of this? Dang, I'm tired of tests and worrying (pain too). Thanks for listening, it helps to vent!

I'm going to just think about NO stray cells there for you! I'm glad your doctor is following up. Sounds like you've got a good one there. Sorry you're going to have a few anxious days.
