Path Results Back! :)

My doctor called me about an hour ago. It scared me because it was actually him, not his nurse. He said that they did find more CINIII/CIS in a different location on my cervix, which makes two spots of it but he is VERY happy that we decided on a hyster because he did not see that during the coploscopy in November. I figure it was either hidden or grew quickly. Thankfully removing everything did get rid of everything and I need no further treatment other than paps to check vaginal wall! WOOHOO!

Thanks so much for the encouragement!

Great news.....Thanks for Sharing!

Hello!

Congrats on the findings! I'm so glad that your hysterectomy solved your problems for you!

I am worried however, about what my own doctor may or may not have missed. I am scheduled for a leep procedure to treat CIN3 in about a week. How can I be SURE that this procedure gets all the bad cells??? I am only 25 & don't really want a hyster although I am afraid that they will miss something!!

Anyways, I hope that in a few weeks I am feeling the same relief as you!

Congrats,
Lisa

Lisa,

I understand your worry. I was also given the option to try a leep but due to my family history and that I have two kids and do not plan on having any more, me and hubby decided that this was the best option. If your leep comes back with clear margins, you will just need to make sure that you go promptly to all you scheduled paps.

GOOD LUCK to you and THANKS everyone!
